Christmas Greetings to all our customers!

We close our studio next week for a well deserved holiday (well, I think so).  It has been a busy and eventful year for us, the prevailing global economic conditions are of course worrying, and we know customers are thinking carefully before spending - which makes us even more sure of our quality and product. 

Our fabrics and carpets are a long-term purchase, they last for decades (and in may cases are handed on to the next generation) in many cases improve with age!  This is always reassuring as we know we have an exceptional product and we are able to survive in a challenging business environment, manufacturing in our unchanged way and making fabrics that cannot be replicated by a machine…so, we are in a great position – but we have to keep thinking about working in a smarter way.

Each year is so different, 2010 has been a year where we have not taken anything for granted – it has made me count my blessings again and again and appreciate every last order and customer.    I feel this was a tough year, and am thrilled to have come to the end of it….I look forward to a renewed energy for 2011, lots of creativity, fun and appreciation of the space we occupy here.
