Colours to make a colourful winter

A friend directed me to Pantone’s website and I loved looking at their colour choice for the next few months.  While I have never wanted to align myself with trend and what is “in”, preferring to let our fabrics speak for themselves, there is such chemistry in this combination of colours.   The colours are original individually, they work well in any combination, and the brights can be paired with the neutrals.

They will work well for the small wearable items that we make (scarves and shawls) and also for decor colours.  I have taken these shades and we have dyed up similar colours in mohair – mohair has such life and takes the sparkle and richness of these bright colours to another level.

I especially like the shade “honeysuckle” – a corally pink combined with the “nougat” and the pale green.  Fresh, summery – a truly inspired combination.

I was fortunate enough to visit swaziland 2 years ago and bought some of your cushion covers. I would very much like to know if you are considering doing mail order as I’m a huge fan of your work but living in England means I can’t visit your shop as often as I would like!
    The shawls look absolutely gorgeous.

    Best wishes
